William H. Rhodes, P.E.
President, Senior Project Director / Engineer
Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering from Clemson University. Since completing his education he has accumulated more than twenty-eight years experience in environmental cleanup, remediation, and emergency response.
Beginning his career with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC), Bill eventually served as District Director before leaving to go into private industry. His experience includes the designing and implementation of water and wastewater systems as well as being project manager on many hazardous waste facility cleanups, lagoon closures, and sludge dewatering projects.
He has extensive experience in emergency spill response and cleanups, including serving as project director of a large spill involving more than five hundred thousand gallons of diesel fuel in a river. Because of the extent and diversity of Mr. Rhodes’ experience and training, his input is an invaluable resource on all projects.
Chief of Operations
Cody has 10+ years of experience in the industrial and environmental sector. He has been on thousands of unique and challenging jobs. Cody oversees the end-to-end the project management of every single job.
He handles everything from hiring and managing personnel, overseeing logistics, managing equipment resources, and delivering premium service for clients. In his time at 3R Cody has managed to build a team that constantly ready to respond to emergencies in a moment’s notice.
Shanna Young has over 15 years of accounting experience. Shanna also has her bachelors degree in Business Administration and a masters degree in Accounting.
Sales & Marketing Director
Mr. Porter received his degree in the area of Business Administration. Mr. Porter has 40 years of experience in the non-ferrous metals and environmental industries. He began his career in the galvanizing industry which is where he met Mr. Bill Rhodes who had been contracted to engineer a system for National Galvanizing to develop an economic environmental system for the spent caustic and acids used to clean the metals prior to hot dip galvanizing. Mr. Porter then partnered with Mr. Bill Rhodes to form Waste Purification Systems to provide waste disposal solutions for hot dip galvanizers throughout the United States. After several years Mr. Porter moved to Brazil to work for Aco Minas export department where he sold carbon steel billets, blooms, and slabs to the United States and European markets. After returning to the United States he joined Copper and Brass Sales as a Territory Manager selling non ferrous metals to a variety of industries in the South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia markets. Mr. Porter joined up with Mr. Rhodes again at 3R, Incorporated 2 years ago as Director of Sales and Marketing. In addition to English Mr. Porter is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
