Some of the Work We Have Done

2001 - World Trade Center/911 (New York, NY)

3R had two separate crews working on the 9/11 disaster. One crew worked on cleanup and decontamination of equipment and vehicles leaving the site. The other crew operated heavy equipment for segregation and inspection of building and other debris for the FBI.

2000 - Potomac Electric Power Company (PEPCO) Spill

(Swanson Creek, MD)

140,000 gallons of #6 fuel oil was spilt into Swanson Creek. 3R laid, removed, and decontaminated the lake using booms and other absorption materials. As time went on, some of the oil started to sink to the bottom of the creek . 3R devised systems to efficiently remove the sunken oil around homes and throughout the lake.

2003 - Hurricane Isabel (Norfolk, VA)

3R helped with the removal of 44 million gallons of river water from the flooded midtown tunnel. After removing the flood water, 3R cleaned and decontaminated the tunnel in accordance to FEMA regulations.

2005 - Hurricane Katrina (New Orleans, LA)

Following the Hurricane Katrina disaster, millions of gallons of oils, pesticides, and other hazardous substances contaminated roughly 300 miles of swamp land. 3R helped remediate marshes with the use of vacuum trucks and hydro-excavation.
